This month our production team began working on a new project for a London-based Waste Management Company.
This is a large plant and a multi-million-pound investment for our customer, one of the biggest in the South East of England.
Three waste streams will be processed at the site C&D (Construction and Demolition Waste) and C&I (Commercial and Industrial Waste), and wood.
Why they chose Kiverco?
We have built a great relationship with this client over many years. It is the third time that they have returned to Kiverco and trusted our team to design and build a plant for their London depot.
Discussions for this particular plant began in 2019 after Kiverco helped the company to upgrade its current plant. The customer was very impressed by the toughness of Kiverco machinery and its excellent aftercare service and returned to Kiverco when they were ready to discuss the relocation of their business.
Our customer aims to divert 100% of waste from landfill. They want to increase throughput and improve the purity of their waste. They wish to increase efficiencies within the waste separation process by using more automation and ultimately become less reliant on manual pickers.
Our customer visited various Kiverco sites to see first hand how effectively Kiverco machinery separated waste before design discussions with our team.
Project Detail
This is one of the largest plants that Kiverco has ever engineered. Due to the bulk density of the waste, the plant has to be exceptionally tough, just what Kiverco plants are made for.
It is designed to process up to 60 tonnes per hour of Construction and Demolition waste, the toughest application in the industry.
