Gabriel O’Keefe, Export Sales Manager has travelled to Scotland to take part in the Department for Business and Trade Export Champion Advisory Group meeting. Gabriel is one of a panel of Export Champions from across the UK who meets periodically as an Advisory Group.
When and where will the event take place?
The event will take place on Thursday morning in Queen Elizabeth House, Edinburgh, and will be chaired by Director General Andrew Mitchell, Director General for Exports and UK Trade.
Who will be attending the event?
Andrew is responsible for the department’s work on exports, UK Regions and the Devolved Administrations, and global supply chains.
Attendees will be welcomed by Director UK Nations Rachel Gwyon
and will hear presentations by:
- Carl Williamson Head, Trade Finance division, UKEF
- Amy Clarke Head, Short-Term Business, UKEF
- Nina deSouza Head, Export Policy and Strategy, Export and Investment Policy Team
Event Opportunities.
This event will provide an opportunity for the Export Champions Advisory Group to provide feedback on a number of the Department for Business and Trade services to the SME sector and to learn of any new developments from the Department of Business and Trade on matters such as Free Trade Agreement discussions.
