January has been a big month for us at Kiverco, as we kicked off 2026 with two fantastic trade shows in the Middle East, WFES 2026 and IFAT Saudi Arabia. And what a start it’s been.
From packed stands to meaningful conversations, both events were a real success for our team and a strong signal of the growing momentum around recycling infrastructure across the region.
World Future Energy Summit (WFES 2026)
Our first stop was WFES 2026, one of the region’s leading sustainability and clean energy events, held annually in Abu Dhabi.
We had a really successful few days meeting waste management companies, government representatives and industry partners who are actively investing in advanced recycling solutions. The level of engagement was great, with visitors keen to explore how modular, scalable recycling systems can help meet ambitious diversion and sustainability targets.
There’s a clear drive across the UAE and wider Middle East to reduce landfill dependency and improve material recovery rates. The conversations we had at WFES reflected that ambition.
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand. We’ve come away with plenty of exciting follow-ups and partnerships to develop over the coming months.

IFAT Saudi Arabia 2026
Within a fortnight after WFES, we headed to IFAT Saudi Arabia, and the momentum didn’t slow down.
We had a really productive and busy few days and we were delighted with the number of visitors to our stand. It was great to see so many organisations interested in Kiverco’s waste recycling solutions and eager to learn more about advanced systems tailored for the region’s evolving infrastructure.
Saudi Arabia’s transformation plans are creating significant opportunities in environmental services and resource management. Visitors were particularly interested in:
- High-capacity MRF solutions
- Modular plant design for phased investment
- Proven technology with strong ROI
- Systems designed for MSW and C&D waste
Across both events, the key takeaway was clear: the Middle East is accelerating its investment in waste recovery and circular economy infrastructure.
We had countless valuable conversations, many of which are continuing as we speak. From feasibility discussions to live project opportunities, January has set the tone for what looks like a very promising year ahead.
To everyone who visited our stands at WFES 2026 and IFAT Saudi Arabia — thank you. Your interest, insights and enthusiasm made both events a real success.
Now, onto the next chapter. 2026 is off to a strong start.
