The Challenge
Westminster Waste Ltd, a leading waste management company in London, needed to upgrade its recycling facility to handle three distinct waste streams: Construction and Demolition (C&D), Commercial and Industrial (C&I), and Wood. This marked the third time Westminster Waste Ltd partnered with Kiverco, demonstrating their continued trust in Kiverco’s expertise.
The main objectives were to achieve 100% landfill diversion, increase throughput, improve purity of recovered materials, and reduce reliance on manual labour. Integrating advanced automation technologies was crucial to optimise waste separation and maximise operational capacity at their new site in central London.
