From the early 1980’s to today. This journey includes our launch in 1993, how laser-like specialisation changed everything, and how our global footprint increased first through Europe and then the rest of the world. See also how establishing robust global networks and world class brand partnerships, bolstered by ongoing manufacturing capability increases, supports our purpose – the creation of The World’s Toughest Recycling Plant.
Born To Do It
As a young boy, and growing up in a large family, Kiverco founder Aidan McKiver used skills learned from working with his father – a fisherman, farmer and mechanic – to create farm machinery that helped modernise and improve efficiency on the family farm.

A Step into Engineering
A 16-year-old Aidan left school, applying his skills in his first job making static crushing equipment, screening equipment, concrete batching plant and more. Even then, Aidan’s focus was quality – the constant improvement of process and product.

The First Business
With an entrepreneurial flair, Aidan set up his first business fabricating and assembling farm machinery from a small family farm shed. The business grew steadily.

Kiverco Launches
Alongside his now wife Anne, Aidan and Anne McKiver move premises to support expansion. They rebrand as Kiverco. This new location became the early foundation of the current Kiverco Headquarters in Brocagh.

Specialisation
With an increasing reputation for incredibly robust do-it-once, do-it-right design and manufacturing, many new opportunities were being presented to Kiverco. This resulted in rapid growth, particularly in the area of large-scale waste separation equipment. This soon became Kiverco’s absolute focus.

Into Europe
With Kiverco’s reputation for toughness spreading internationally, Kiverco’s first European plant is installed in Portugal and Spain. Business continues to grow throughout Europe with plants in France, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland and more.

Going Global
Kiverco expands into the North American market with its first plant installation in the state of Ohio.

Global Networks
With Kiverco’s recycling plant now outperforming the market so convincingly, Kiverco secure Lincom as their distributor in Australia and New Zealand which results in exports to Australia, New Zealand and more.

UK Manufacturing Doubles
Kiverco doubles its manufacturing capabilities to facilitate growth plus increased research and development to further increase plant performance and longevity.

The Middle East
Kiverco establishes a presence in the Middle East with the first Kiverco waste plant installed in Fujairah, UAE. More waste processing plant follows in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Dubai.
